At the heart of “The Q” lies a horizontal and vertical air bearing with an astonishing concentric accuracy of 0.1 μm. To further elevate playback performance, a manually adjustable Delrin axis minimizes resonances, ensuring the purest possible reproduction of your music.
Revolutionary Sub-Chassis
The sub-chassis is supported by aperiodic, pneumatic, and level-able low-frequency dampers, isolating the playback mechanism from external vibrations. This foundation provides the perfect environment for uncompromised audio clarity.
Advanced Platter System
The top platter, crafted from 5 kg of POM (Polyoxymethylene), is nearly fully decoupled using precision-engineered spikes that separate it from the bottom platter. The 16 kg bottom platter employs a sandwich construction with multi-compound mass to eliminate disturbances from the drive mechanism, keeping the cartridge’s performance flawless and undisturbed.
Ultimate Tonearm Flexibility
Accommodating up to three tonearm bases, “The Q” is engineered to decouple each tonearm from the sub-chassis using specially designed horizontal spikes. These bases remain in a perfectly stable position, and unused tonearm bases can be discreetly covered with top plates, maintaining a sleek and refined aesthetic.

The belt drive system employs a 16.80 cm pulley that functions like a flywheel, delivering exceptionally smooth and stable playback. The direct drive system is where true innovation shines: it features a 100% pole jitter-free torque motor with an integrated air bearing – a world-first configuration.
Unmatched Speed Accuracy
The direct drive motor uses a cutting-edge system of 18,000 laser-assisted measuring points, supported by an axis generator capable of correcting speed deviations at every measuring point. With 50x interpolation per microcontroller, this allows for up to 900,000 speed corrections per LP revolution, achieving perfect stability and accuracy.
